About “Touch A Life Foundation”:
The local "Touch A Life Foundation" was officially registered on July 9, 2008. It was founded by Larisa Ivashkevich. The members of the Fundation Board are country famous cultural celebrities, athletes, representatives of government organizations. The Fundation aims to raise public awareness of child's oncology and hematology issues well as the orphan problems.
The Fundation provides social and psychological help to children with cancer, raises money for cancer treatment and rehabilitation as well as supports baby houses and orphanages.
The mission of the Fundation is to promote health, medical care, cultural and social development of children with cancer and other health problems in Minsk and the Republic of Belarus.
The main Fundation targets are:
- fundraising for treatment and rehabilitation of children with cancer and blood diseases;
- fundraising for target recipient-oriented help to orphans;
- organizing and assisting child health promotion programs;
- providing support to child oncology and hematology clinics;
- providing support to orphanages and baby houses;
- increasing public awareness to child problems;
- providing social and psychological help to orphans and social orphans;
- facilitating the activities of volunteer groups which assist child oncology/hematology clinics, orphanages and baby houses.
