Russian-language editions, dedicated to this methodology of planning, management and evaluation, though more acceptable, are mostly just a direct translation from their source language, they don’t give an opportunity to “include” the contents of these books in the context of present situation in our country and our way of thinking.

How is one to regard LFA to stop considering it as an alien methodology without any roots in our reality? How to reconsider this management tool using Belorussian material, local problems and challenges, experience of working with organizations in our country and in a number of neighboring countries? How to avoid unnecessary theorization and save the guide practice-oriented, but not oversimplify contents to trite recommendations?
