The concept

The necessity of such applications came to me in 2005 year, when we went on holiday to Italy with my wife. We selected individual tour and in our adventure wa were chosing the way by ourselves. And almost immediately we had a problem - How not to get lost in unknown town? Not knowing the language in progressive topographical cretinism :). How to return in magazin or caffe which attracted by the way? In addition, there are may be two hotels in one town with the same names and a taksist can bring you, according to the "law of the sandwich", to another hotel. So when my companion, selecting an application, suggested the idea of searching program for the car on the parking (with the work-name 'where is my ride, dude?') i was reminded this trip to Italy and the decision was made.

App features.

The app has two screens. The first screen shows the list of the saved reference points with the following information:

distance to each object from the current location

accuracy of GPS signal at the moment of saving the point

current accuracy of GPS signal

standard set to edit the list

The second screen shows the positioning to the desred point with a cute arrow on a nice background

All the app features were thoroughly considered and supposed to be just what is needed:

direction to the necessary object

the compas

distance to the destination

time from starting movement to the point

sending coordinates of the current location and destination via SMS

built-in flashlight (to light up the road while looking at the pointer to the destination)

The app supports English and Russian.

In the next releases we plan to add:

- social network integration which will help to promote the app usage more widely. As example, you can post the link to the place on your page and your friends or business partners will always be able to find you. The feature is very helpful if you need to gather many people in one place as allows to avoid routine with sending SMS to each person.

- possibility to make photos of the place or object;

Whenever you are in a new town – take this true helper with you for a walk. The arrow will always show you the right direction and distance to your hotel. We built this app in winter, so looking forward to check it in summer when going for mushroom hunting:). The app is useful in many ways.
