Готовый перевод История Королевы Эльфов / The story of the Elf Queen: Степаурон
Alternative Prologue
A guy came out of the apartment. He was undoubtedly ugly, short, almost round in his fullness, with greasy blond hair, and pimples. He hadn't washed his hair in a long time and despised deodorant. The cherry on the cake was the lusty, stupid smile that settled on his face. Entering the elevator and nodding to his namesake, Stepan continued to familiarize himself with the high culture of the Empire of the Rising Sun. Or watched Chinese porno cartoons, to put it another way. Due to the elevator shaking once again, Stepan That One got out of the elevator second. And immediately realized that something was wrong. The lighting was misdirected, it was too quiet, and his intuition was persistently alarming. As he continued walking, staring at his phone, he looked around out of the corner of his eye. Some white halls are hung with screens showing different points of the world, and some of the images are obviously artificial, there is no saturated purple grass and two suns on Earth, a scarlet velvet carpet, and probably the owner of the hall sitting at the table. No immediate danger. Having put the phone in his pocket, Stepan began to look around with a straight look. But then he was interrupted in a most insolent manner.
"Stepan, unfortunately for you, you have been chosen as the savior of one distant world."
The kidnapper looked like an imposing middle-aged man in a business suit. Didn't look like anything divine. But still... His stream of thanks was interrupted before it even began.
"No, you can't refuse."
There was no dialogue, but after a few lines, Stepan realized it was a recording. Most likely intended for his namesake. Either he was being mocked for making him think that way, a thought that couldn't be denied. Mentally apologizing for the stolen adventure, Stepan continued listening. If we cut the whole monologue short, the summary was as follows. In one World, seven Demonic Lords began to invade at once. And he Stepan, armed with the System and the class of Demon Slayer will have to save that world, no matter how. For which he will have the opportunity at the cost of all the newfound power, and most of the knowledge to return home. Mentally sighing, when instead of a magically gifted slave that he would have chosen, magical weapons or any other kind of read, namesake would have chosen a spatial pocket where he could hide. But still glad that it was not some bullshit, useless both for harem gathering and for survival, the new Demon Slayer stepped into another world, and immediately moved into a spatial pocket.

Once in his spatial pocket, Stepan looked around. It looked like a cube with a five-meter edge. One of its sides generated gravity, and the directly opposite side burned with a non-bright light. Stepan knew from somewhere that he controlled this space within very wide limits. Change the lighting or the color of the walls? That wasn't even up for discussion. Purify the air for breathing? Easy. Control gravity or the passage of time? If you work hard enough. Weaken, kill, or even subdue a hypothetical enemy just by being here? After a lot of levels... and it'll work. Hiding from someone? Pretty much a basic function. Stepan was distracted by the System.

Once again, Stepan knew everything intuitively. But deciding to double-check and stop projecting hentai on one of the walls, he delved into the System Help, starting with the profile.

Three girls were sitting in the dugout, but few people would notice. Each of them was a knight with the rank of apprentice, specializing in stealth, so it was only natural. Two more members of the Fourth Reconnaissance Squad were currently hacking another third signal circuit, and the remaining ones were of little help.

Vanitas approached the dying fortress with a strolling stride. Entering the broken gate and bypassing the corpse, he walked to the heart of the defense structure. A dozen surviving knights, led by the commandant, were trying to escape the doomed building. They did. Before the commandant turned into one of the creatures and attacked in the back. Drinking the surviving warrior along the way, one of the oldest creatures on the planet reached the secret part of the basement. The vampire's lips twitched, in a parody of a smile as he found a nearly completed demonic summoning circle.
