rene experiences a relapse of Lyme Disease. She eventually moved out of the house, ostensibly over health concerns over the disease. In the days before she leaves, Irene worries her housemates think she is not clean, so she scrubs and cleans the house. The cast eats breakfast at IHOP, and Irene says that art «doesn't have to hurt». Stephen accuses her of being overwhelmed and fake. Stephen hides Irene's much treasured childhood plush toy, and lies about its whereabouts when she searches for it while moving out. As Irene is leaving for the last time, she calls for Stephen to join her outside and informs him that a relationship between the two of them would never work, as he is a homosexual. Stephen quickly runs inside, retrieves the plush toy and taunts her by holding it over the pier, and then by throwing it into the water. Irene laughs and gets into the car, which begins to drive away. Stephen then approaches her car, opens the car door, and slaps her in the face. The crew shows the cast the video and the cast is appalled. The crew gives them the option to eject Stephen from the house. After some deliberation, the housemates agree to allow Stephen to stay, provided he attends an anger management course. The cast also attends a seminar about Lyme Disease to understand what Irene had been going through.
