<string id="001">I know and respect the wish of my grandfather. But I think it's not wise of him. I'm a great support to him. How could he live here without me? And how could I live without him? I do not know anyone in Hillbrandt... But what can I do? I respect his decision.</string>

<strings>

<string id="000">Who rules here in Alvaron?</string>

<string id="001">Ruler of Alvaron is Grand Duke Drake Lambert, the royal governor of this town. Duchess Vanessa of Kenthworth is the vice-governor.</string>

<string id="002">I'm sorry, I'm not going to talk about that with you!</string>

<string id="003">I have heard some rumors about a coming war. Do you happen to know anything about that?</string>

<string id="004">People say there will be a war. At least everything indicates it, horses and cattle are being requisitioned, granaries are being filled up and young men recruited to the army... Just one thing is missing, and quite a significant one—an enemy. There is no sign the realm is being endangered by an enemy that our army could stand against in a field. It's really strange and people are scared, war is the last thing we would like to have!</string>

<string id="005">I'm sorry, I'm not going to talk about that with you!</string>

<string id="006">Has there recently been a fierce storm in Alvaron accompanied by unnatural phenomenon?</string>

<string id="007">I do not remember any recent fierce storm. It's true that sometimes the sky above Alvaron is going wild and you can see things man would not believe to exist, but recently? No, I don't remember any fierce storms.</string>

<string id="008">I'm sorry, I'm not going to talk about that with you!</string>

<string id="009">What monsters may I come across here?</string>

<string id="010">You're asking really the right one about the monsters. Were it not for you I myself would have changed into one of those monstrous toothy wolf-beasts... You can't imagine how strong the calling of wolf-prince Wulfhyrr was. It resounded in my heart like the treacherous whisper of Satan the tempter. Just a bit longer and I would become one of the werewolves of the Wulfhyrr's pack, which all Alvaron is scared of. I can't imagine running with them on bloody hunts killing innocent victims. I can't imagine preying upon lonely pilgrims wandering at night. How disgusting!</string>

<string id="011">I'm sorry, I'm not going to talk about that with you!</string>

<string id="012">Is it possible to get any reward here in Alvaron for killing a monster?</string>

<string id="013">There are high rewards for werewolves who rage not only in the vicinity of the city, but even in the streets. Sheriff Henry Portmann will pay rewards in exchange for the trophies you give him, werewolf heads. I shiver all over when I remember that it could easily be my head that someone would get pouch of gold for...</string>

<string id="014">I'm sorry, I'm not going to talk about that with you!</string>

<string id="015">I search for heretics here in Alvaron. Have you any suspicions?</string>

<string id="016">I'm sorry, noble sir, but I won't help you with hunting of heretics and witches. I try to stay away from heresy, because it's like a plague, you can catch it without even knowing. But if I hear or see something I surely will tell you, you can count on it!</string>

<string id="017">I'm sorry, I'm not going to talk about that with you!</string>

<string id="018">Has anything noteworthy happened here in Alvaron in recent days?</string>

<string id="019">During the last few years quite a lot of people have been brutally murdered, noble sir. And at least equal number has gone missing without a trace. People usually pin it on the packs led by wolf-prince Wulfhyrr, and I too sincerely believe it to be true. Werewolves have been living in this country since the times immemorial, but in the last three years their numbers increased so much they even dare to hunt during the day. Someone should do something about it...</string>

<string id="020">I'm sorry, I'm not going to talk about that with you!</string>

<string id="021">I'm investigating the case of false gold. It seems some heretics are able to temporarily change human ordure into gold. Do you know anything about it?</string>

<string id="022">You should ask my wife Salena about the false gold. She told me she herself had seen that gold, so she may be able to help you...</string>

<string id="023">I'm sorry, I'm not going to talk about that with you!</string>

<string id="024">I search for missing Ron Burton. Do you happen to know anything about him?</string>

<string id="025">I'm sorry, but I don't know a thing about Ron Burton. I didn't even know he is missing...</string>

<string id="026">I'm sorry, I'm not going to talk about that with you!</string>

<string id="027">Priest Nicolas states he was wrongfully alleged of raping Grand Duchess Liana Lambert. Do you know anything about it?</string>

<string id="028">It's true that there are many rumors about Grand Duchess Liana Lambert. For example, that she cheats on her husband at every turn and that she is a perverted, wanton woman dominated by an uncontrollable lust. But this is not something you would say aloud about the royal governor's wife, is it?!</string>

<string id="029">I'm sorry, I'm not going to talk about that with you!</string>

<string id="030">That's all, farewell.</string>

<string id="031">Of course I don't want it for free...</string>

<string id="032">If you really want to know that, noble sir, it will cost you $$moneypopTargetPop$$ gp.</string>

<string id="033">All right.</string>

<string id="034">I don't have that much.</string>

<string id="035">In that case I can't help you...</string>

<string id="036">I won't give you that much!</string>

<string id="037">In that case I can't help you...</string>

<string id="038">I'll give you no more than 10 gp.</string>

<string id="039">In that case I can't help you...</string>

<string id="040">Answer me at once, good man, or you will come to know the terrors of God's wrath!</string>

<string id="041">I sincerely ask you to answer my question, good man. I assure you it will help to administer God's justice!</string>

<string id="042">I find it hard to believe such a knowing and world-wise man would refuse to answer such a simple question...</string>

<string id="043">Alright, nothing...</string>

<string id="044">Really? My God, at last someone will help me! Thank you, noble sir. I... damn... what is it?... Aaaargh... the pain... I can't see anything, the red haze, it's everywhere! What's happening? Wrrrggghhhhh...</string>

<string id="045">The disease is progressing... Drink the potion, good man, and fast!</string>

<string id="046">Take that ugly slop away, noble sir! You will not need it anymore, and so won't I! Why should I drink it?! New being has been born inside me. I'm the beast ready to kill! I'm Ulghurff, master of the night. I've arisen to bring sacrifices to our god Urr. And I hear him asking me for your life. Yes, my lord, I'll kill him at once! Whhrraauugghh!</string>

<string id="047">I can see that I'm going to have to use force to overcome your resistance and compel you to drink the potion. Apparently there is no other way... it seems to be God's will. So, let's do it...</string>

<string id="048">Go away from me, noble sir! Fast! I can't resist it for long. It engulfs me. I may rush on you any moment now and tear your throat open to quench that ardent thirst which is consuming me... Go away... run... Save your life!</string>

<string id="049">You are Alwar Flock, right? Your wife asked me to try to help you...</string>

<string id="050">Salena? My beloved Salena is still trying to help me, even after I almost killed her? I love her so much... But it's too late, noble sir. Soon I'm going to become a werewolf, to join the pack of those ugly beasts and then I will feast on human flesh like them. It's too late...</string>

<string id="051">I assure you it is not. I have a potion with me that will cure you of lycanthropy once and for all!</string>

<string id="052">I assure you it is not. I'll get you a medicine that will help you!</string>

<string id="053">In that case please hurry, noble sir. I don't know how long I can resist it...</string>

<string id="054">Good God... you are changing into a werewolf?!</string>

<string id="055">Yes, it's true... Some time ago I was attacked by a pack of werewolves while hunting near the city. I managed to get away only thanks to God's providence, but those beasts bit me. Since that time I've been hearing their calling, they lure me, they want me to join the pack. And my body is changing, smitten by that ugly disease. Look at me, noble sir—I almost do not resemble a human now!</string>

<string id="056">Noble sir... the pain is consuming me. I feel the taste of my own blood on my lips and it's driving me mad! I yearn for fresh blood... I want to rip someone to pieces! Do something!</string>

<string id="057">You must bear it a little longer, good man. I still have not managed to get the medicine...</string>

<string id="058">Hurry, noble sir! Don't you see how fast the transformation is progressing? Better go away, heat of your body drives me mad...</string>

<string id="059">I have a potion for you that will cure your lycantrophy once and for all.</string>

<string id="060">Whauuuuuuuffff... urgh... urgh...</string>

<string id="061">I told you I can overcome your resistance... Now I'm going to pour the potion into your mouth and then pray it works. Because if it won't, I'll have to kill you like a wild animal!</string>

<string id="062">Whufff... Aaahhhh... the pain... it's unbearable... Aaahhhh...</string>

<string id="063">Good heavens... the potion really works! You're starting to look like human again, good man!</string>

<string id="064">My God... I'm cured! I'm human again! You have done it, noble sir!</string>

<string id="065">Yes, it seems so. It was the will of God.</string>

<string id="066">I'm in your debt. I'll be thankful till the day I die. Were it not for you I would have changed into a bloodthirsty beast killing innocent people at night. Thank you, thank you with all my heart.</string>

<string id="067">You should thank your wife, good man. It was she who asked me to help you.</string>

<string id="068">Yes, that's true. My beloved Salena had not forsaken me even in such a gruesome condition. I must go to her, noble sir. I must go to her and thank her with all my heart. And then I will gulp down some food—I'm hungry as a wolf!</string>

<string id="069">Good day, noble sir. Me and my wife are really glad to see you. Were it not for you we would not have been together now!</string>

<string id="070">I'd like to talk with you, good man.</string>

<string id="071">As you wish, noble sir. What have you to say?</string>

<string id="072">I'd like to know how you are faring. If there are any... after-effects.</string>

<string id="073">No, noble sir. The potion you gave me cured me. My body changed back. Only... I've been hungry since then and that hunger can be satisfied only by a bloody piece of rare meat.</string>

<string id="074">Well...</string>

<string id="075">Do not worry, noble sir—I'll take care of myself. If it should get worse I would rather run into the woods than hurt someone...</string>

<string id="076">Nothing, I just came by. Goodbye.</string>

<strings>

<string id="000">What do you think of the charge of heresy raised against you, master?</string>

<string id="001">Charges brought against me are nothing more than blatant lies. I'm a humble servant of God and not some damned heretic. When those green skins attacked the town I had not even been in Hillbrandt. I was lured out of the town and tricked to be bound by dark magic to make it possible to plot this shocking conspiracy against me!</string>

<string id="002">I found Bishop Quentin, master. He is being held in the orcish caverns deep under the Moonshine Mountains.</string>

<string id="003">You have found Bishop Quentin! In that case you have to free him as soon as possible, sir. His testimony is presently the only evidence we have against Baroness Linda van Gallagan! Act promptly, sir!</string>

<string id="004">I managed to free Bishop Quentin, master. He was being held in the orcish caverns deep under the Moonshine Mountains. I suppose he is already back in Hillbrandt by now.</string>

<string id="005">In that case go and talk with him as soon as possible. You will assure yourself of my innocence. Baroness Linda van Gallagan is a heretic and has to be proven guilty together with her accomplices!</string>

<string id="006">I found and freed Bishop Quentin, master. And based on his testimony it seems Baroness Linda van Gallagan really committed the crime you told me about.</string>

<string id="007">See? I told you so. Now, when you have the testimony of Bishop Quentin, you may start gathering more evidence against Baroness van Gallagan. You have to prove her guilty. You just have to!</string>

<string id="008">Baroness Linda van Gallagan pleaded her sins before dying, master. She confessed she committed all those crimes in order to prepare a Sabbath of witches. And during that Sabbath Fallen Angel Arthamon was supposedly summoned. Furthermore she said that judge Vallarian masterminded all that villainy! What do you think about it?</string>

<string id="009">You have taken me aback, sir! I've never doubted Baroness Linda van Gallagan is a heretic. But I can not believe judge Vallarian would be behind all that. I've heard enough about Vallarian to know he is a willful man persisting on his first opinion—be it whatsoever—but it seems quite odd to me to think he is a heretic.</string>

<string id="010">Well...</string>

<string id="011">Furthermore, I'm shocked by the mention of Fallen Angel Arthamon. It has to be some mistake, because it's unthinkable to summon Fallen Angel Arthamon. Fallen Angels can not be summoned into this world, because it would disprove all what the Holy Scriptures teach us. But no matter what's the truth, in my opinion it proves the heretics that gathered around Baroness Linda van Gallagan are not simple charlatans. They are a real danger for the Realm. If I were you, I would quickly find out what's the truth behind all those speculations and who have their hands in it!</string>

<string id="012">Based on the denunciation made by Linda van Gallaghan I decided to arrest Sam Riemann. When tortured, he confessed he helped Baroness Linda van Gallagan to prepare that heretical Sabbath at which Fallen Angel Arthamon was reputedly summoned. And much like Baroness he asserted that Judge Vallarian masterminded that crime. What do you think about it, Master?</string>

<string id="013">Your investigation exceeded my expectations, sir. I have to say I'm almost taken by surprise. I've never doubted Baroness Linda van Gallagan is a heretic. And also I'm not taken aback by Sam Riemann helping her. But it's queer that confessions of them both accord in the matter of judge Vallarian. If I were you, I'd quickly find out what's the truth behind all those speculations!</string>

<string id="014">I'm going to accuse judge Vallarian of heresy, master. Facts speak against him. What is your opinion about it?</string>

<string id="015">You want to charge judge Vallarian with heresy... I hesitate to speak about it. It is really... beyond imagination. But if facts speak clearly... I hope you made no mistake. It would probably have fatal consequences for you. But do as you see fit.</string>

<string id="016">Judge Vallarian pleaded guilty of all crimes he was charged with, master. What do you think about it?</string>

<string id="017">Judge Vallarian pleaded guilty? It is unbelievable. In that case it had to be him who tried to falsely accuse me of heresy and get me sentenced. And it was him who ordered Bishop Quentinus to be kidnapped...</string>

<string id="018">Yes, just so.</string>

<string id="022">What can you tell me about Bishop Trevorius?</string>

<string id="023">Monsignor Trevorius is diocesan Bishop in Glatzburg. I've known him for some time and I may tell you with certainty he is a man of utmost faith and of unbelievable devotion to his mission. Furthermore, he is very scholarly and his knowledge in many different areas is admirable. He is very interested in everything concerning the faith and the fight for its greater power, so I'm hopeful he will help you with your investigation—that is, if you decide to seek him.</string>

<string id="024">What do you think about the recent crisis the Realm has been dragged into, master?</string>

<string id="025">What do I think of the recent crisis? Well... I wouldn't use the term crisis. It seems like the end of the world to me, sir. I don't want to sound like a demagogue, but I'm deeply faithful man and I can sense when the faith is in danger. The events, which started after the Star of Doom has risen on the sky, are endangering the faith more than anything we have faced before. I do not know if the Visions of Saint Ezekiel in the Scriptures really speaks about the end of the world, but it seems so by all accounts. We have to step against it and stop it at all costs!</string>

<string id="026">I'm sorry, but I won't talk with you about that!</string>

<string id="027">What monsters may I come across here?</string>

<string id="028">Monsters are in abundance in the surroundings of the town, sir. It has always been a barbarous region, because it rests in the shadow of the Moonshine Mountains, which have been home to all sorts of beasts and horrors of Hell since long ago. But never has this country seen something like those creatures that have been debouching from the bowels of Earth over the last two years. It's hard to say which breed of monsters is the most dangerous, but wherever you go you will surely meet trolls. They are abominable beasts living among the highest mountain peaks. This year they have descended to lowlands in particularly numerous bands and now they plunder homesteads in the foothills. It's hard to kill them because they have stone instead of skin. They are terribly bloodthirsty. If you happen to meet them, sir, run for you life.</string>

<string id="029">I'm sorry, but I won't talk with you about that!</string>

<string id="030">Is it possible to get any reward here in Hillbrandt for killing monsters?</string>

<string id="031">Duke Weinberg announced a reward for orcish heads. Ask sheriff Contemburry for further details. He also pays the rewards—just bring him a head or a scalp from a green skin and the gold is yours. But it's a very dangerous to make a living on it. Many adventurers tried to make money that way, but nobody has seen them since. I'm afraid Duke's plan has failed—people are scared to go behind the town walls, let alone to hunt the orcs.</string>

<string id="032">I'm sorry, but I won't talk with you about that!</string>

<string id="033">Has something unusual happened in Hillbrandt lately?</string>

<string id="034">You ask me if something strange happened in Hillbrandt... I suppose you mean aside from all we talked about.</string>

<string id="035">Yes.</string>

<string id="036">Some time ago a terrible storm raged above the town. It was in the middle of one of those moonless nights and I openly admit I've never experienced anything more frightful. The storm caught me on my way back from one of my frequent crusades against hellspawns, when nightfall forced me to stay overnight out of the town walls. I've seen much in my life, but nothing like that. Cruel wind came, whipping the land as if the very sky started to fall down. Then thunders begin to stroke, rumbling like thousands of drums, and they deafened even the wailing of the tempest. And then it happened...</string>

<string id="037">What happened?</string>

<string id="038">Each stroke of lightning resounded the night sky with a terrible roar and in a twinkling blinding flare I saw demons dancing in the sky. At first I thought it might be an illusion, but later I became certain. It was horrible, sir. They swirled in a mad dance, screamed and mutually scarified themselves, falling to the earth and flying up again. That entire infernal whirl culminated in a torrent of their bodies disappearing somewhere above the Dragon Rock. Then all became silent and only damaged countryside bore witness to the horrors that occurred in Hillbrandt and its surrounding.</string>

<string id="039">What evoked that storm?</string>

<string id="040">I do not know, sir, but whatever it was, everything has been going worse and worse since that moment. Orcs have crept from the depths of Earth and massacred Asherbalt. Wild monsters descended from the mountains and infested the foothills. All beasts and hellspawns started to be yet more aggressive... I do not know exactly what happened, but that storm has not brought anything good, that is for sure!</string>

<string id="041">I'm sorry, but I won't talk with you about that!</string>

<string id="042">What do you know about Fallen Angel Arthamon, master?</string>

<string id="043">What do I know about Fallen Angel Arthamon? My knowledge of the Scriptures isn't too good, sir, but I know he is one of the most powerful demons ever serving Satan the Tempter. At the beginning of the days Arthamon has been thrown down from Heavens along with other Fallen Angels for crimes against God. Arthamon is the ruler of fires and the master of the ruin. His powers lie in the Kingdom of destruction. Now and then some heretics appear who worship him as a god of war.</string>

<string id="044">I'm sorry, but I won't talk with you about that!</string>

<string id="045">The monstrance of saint Orthenius has disappeared from the town, master. Do you know anything about it?</string>

<string id="046">Yes, I heard the monstrance of saint Orthenius has disappeared. I wanted to investigate it, but now I have other concerns. It is a terrible shock not only for the town, but also for the Realm as a whole. It is one of a few saintly relics, which supposedly were consecrated by Saint Orthenius himself. Regrettably I haven't a slightest idea where it could went to.</string>

<string id="047">I'm sorry, but I won't talk with you about that!</string>

<string id="048">Are there some legends or myths connected to Hillbrandt or its surrounding?</string>

<string id="049">Hillbrandt is emblazoned with legends and myths, sir. It is a town with a long history, although it doesn't seem so. Take for example the tale of the Tree of Death, which grows near the Dragon Rock in the foothills of the Moonshine Mountains. It is told that it contains imprisoned souls of barbarian women, children and old men, hanged there by Duke Welliar in the year 988 after the last remnants of barbarian warriors were slaughtered. It was at the end of the Barbarian wars. The unified holy army was winning on all the fronts and the barbarian hordes were fleeing back to the Moonshine Mountains from where they had invaded the Realm. Majority of them was slaughtered on the run.</string>

<string id="050">Well... continue.</string>

<string id="051">The same happened here. Duke Welliar with his cavalry surrounded a decimated tribe and killed all the warriors in a night assault. Legend says barbarian women and children pleaded for mercy in the morning, but Duke refused to take them as prisoners and ordered them to be hung on a spreading old oak tree they were hiding under. It is told that when people from the town came the other day to bury the dead, they found only empty ropes. And the tree was lifeless as if dead for hundreds of years...</string>

<string id="052">Dreadful...</string>

<string id="053">Yes, it is. Since then people avoid that area, because they believe the tree is possessed by unclean sprits of never christened barbarian children, which entered it to wait inside for the day of their revenge. During unquiet windy nights you really may hear some groans and shrieks from afar. People from the town say dead barbarians come out of the tree once a year and ride into the country to have revenge.</string>

<string id="054">I'm sorry, but I won't talk with you about that!</string>

<string id="055">What do you think about landsknecht Olfghard, the alleged murderer of Natalia Reichmann?</string>

<string id="056">I knew Natalia Reichmann very well. She was pretty and merry girl. Her father was rightly proud of her. It's a mystery what happened to her. I do not know for sure Olfghard killed and robber her, as it is told. It may be so. Regrettably I had no time to investigate the case. But whatever the truth is, Olfghard has absconded and that for sure means something.</string>

<string id="057">I'm sorry, but I won't talk with you about that!</string>

<string id="058">I'm searching for soldier named Jullian. By all accounts he has deserted. Do you know anything about it?</string>

<string id="059">I'm sorry, sir, but I know nothing about soldier Jullian. He probably ran somewhere to the south, as most of deserters do.</string>

<string id="060">I'm sorry, but I won't talk with you about that!</string>

<string id="061">What do you think about the accusation that the Brotherhood of the Righteous has been conspiring against the Holy Inquisition and tries to curtail its powers to stop it from revealing criminals inside the Brotherhood?</string>

<string id="062">Brotherhood of the Righteous never committed itself to any wrongdoings, less so to a conspiracy! All these are only shameful lies. Whoever spreads such delusions should realize the facts first. Brotherhood of the Righteous was given an exclusive domain for administering justice as far back as in 1115, more than hundred years ago. The knightly order was established with the blessing of King Archibald I and always has been the bastion of true faith and righteousness.</string>

<string id="063">Well... but what about your wealth? And your power?</string>

<string id="064">It's true the power of our order has expanded greatly in the process and our wealth is innumerable, but all that serves to the benefit of our holy quest! Attempts of Holy Inquisition to curtail our power and subject us to its jurisdiction clearly prove that it's in fact the Holy Office that is pursuing its own interests and trying to intrigue against the justice. And we cannot permit that!</string>

<string id="065">I'm sorry, but I won't talk with you about that!</string>

<string id="066">Do you regard Bishop Trevorius as trustful? I asked him for help, but his goodwill was quite limited...</string>

<string id="067">Well... it is strange. I do not remember Bishop Trevorius to ever hesitate to lend a helping hand in a fight against darkness in human souls. I'd thought he will immediately assist you to the greatest extent possible. It's really odd! But I hope the situation will clear up somehow...</string>

<string id="068">Do you know Bishop Trevorius is dead, master?</string>

<string id="069">What are you telling me? Bishop Trevorius is dead? My God! How comes it? What happened to him? Speak, sir!</string>

<string id="070">He was murdered, master. It was impossible to help him.</string>

<string id="071">A Murder?! I should have though that! Vile murderers do not detest even to lay their hands on the God's legate on earth! His death must be avenged, sir! Those heathens and heretics won't get away with this; it's as sure as there is God above us! You must to do all you can not to let this death unpunished!</string>

<string id="072">You can rely on me, master.</string>

<string id="073">I have every confidence in you, sir!</string>

<string id="074">We have already found his murderers, master. They are heretics from the cult named the Children of the New Order.</string>

<string id="075">It's very grave news indeed, sir. Just the fact that the cult is still in existence is worrying me, let alone that they dared to commit such a terrible act as the murder of diocesan Bishop certainly is. You have to uncover all who are connected to those Children of the New Order and stop them in their rampart spree!</string>

<string id="076">Who rules Hillbrandt and surrounding areas?</string>

<string id="077">Hillbrandt and surrounding areas are ruled by Duke Weinberg, the royal governor of the town. Vice-governor is Baron Robert van Gallagan. Duke Weinberg is the right man at the right place, I think. But Baron van Gallagan rules mostly with the aid of his wife...</string>

<string id="078">I'm sorry, but I won't talk with you about that!</string>

<string id="079">That's all, farewell.</string>

<string id="080">I do not want it gratis, of course...</string>

<string id="081">I'm sorry, but you won't bribe me! I firmly adhere to the principles of morality!</string>

<string id="082">Answer me immediately, master, or you will bear grave consequences for your reluctance!</string>

<string id="083">You have to answer me. A man like you surely understands significance of my mission!</string>

<string id="084">I do not believe that your great wisdom and judgement would restrain you from answering my question, master.</string>

<string id="085">Alright, nothing...</string>

<string id="086">I will look for your sword, master. That thief will be smitten by rightful punishment.</string>

<string id="087">Thank you, sir. I will be greatly indebted to you—if you succeed.</string>

<string id="088">You are welcome. May I talk with you some more?</string>

<string id="089">Certainly, sir. What do you need to know?</string>

<string id="090">You are welcome, master. Farewell.</string>

<string id="091">What will you offer me for my service, master?</string>

<string id="093">I'm sorry, but it does not seem to me as the best idea to help a man suspicious of heresy to obtain a weapon...</string>

<string id="094">I understand, sir. It makes some sense. Farewell.</string>

<string id="095">I think I know where to find your sword. I had infiltrated the orcish caverns in Moonshine Mountains and met a creature from hell confusingly similar to you. And it wielded probably just the sword you are searching for.</string>

<string id="096">Really? But this would mean I was right! Theft of my sword is connected with that man—I mean with that creature of hell you're speaking about—which people had seen among green skins during the orcish attack on the town. It's almost sure the heretics have stolen my sword just to summon a hellspawn that would be indistinguishable from me. And then put him among the green skins to make me suspicious of high treason! Yes, I'm starting to understand it. Thank you, sir, you helped me greatly. Although I would appreciate it if you could bring me my sword back. I need it badly!</string>

<string id="097">All right, master, I will bring you your sword.</string>

<string id="098">Thank you, sir. I will be greatly indebted to you—if you succeed.</string>

<string id="099">You are welcome. May I talk with you some more?</string>

<string id="100">Sure, sir. Ask your questions.</string>

<string id="101">You are welcome, master. Farewell.</string>

<string id="102">I may consider doing that... What will you offer me in exchange for this service, master?</string>

<string id="103">Well... so it is like this? Inquisitors of the Holy Office care more about their personal benefit than about administering of justice and catching criminals? In that case I'm not surprised God turned his face away from the Realm.</string>

<string id="104">I'm sorry, but it does not seem to me as the best idea to help a man suspicious of heresy to obtain a weapon. Moreover, existence of a magic double does not necessarily prove anything of what you just deduced.</string>

<string id="105">I understand, sir. It makes some sense. In that case, may the God be with you.</string>

<string id="106">Wait, master. I'd like to talk to you some more.</string>

<string id="107">Really? And about what?</string>

<string id="108">Farewell.</string>

<string id="109">I think I've found your sword, master. Is it this one?</string>

<string id="110">Really, that is my sword! The First prophet himself bless you, sir. Where did you found it?</string>

<string id="111">Deep in the orcish caverns under the Moonshine Mountains. It was wielded by a hellspawn looking exactly like you.</string>

<string id="112">So I was true! The theft of my sword is connected with that man—I mean with that creature of hell you're speaking about—which people had seen among green skins during the orcish attack on the town. It's utterly probable the heretics have stolen my sword just to summon a hellspawn that would be indistinguishable from me. And then to put him among the green skins to make me suspicious of high treason! Thank you, sir, you helped me greatly. Now it's starting to make some sense. I'm greatly indebted to you. Accept, please, this little reward as an expression of my thanks for your hard work.</string>

<string id="113">Than you. May I speak with you a little bit more?</string>

<string id="114">Sure, sir. Ask your questions.</string>

<string id="115">Thank you, master. Farewell.</string>

<string id="116">Thank you, master.</string>

<string id="117">You're welcome. Is there something I can do for you now, sir?</string>

<string id="118">It's a rather sensitive matter. Can you vow me you won't tell anyone?</string>

<string id="119">Sure, sir. I vow by all that is dear to me I will not speak a word about anything what will be told here. What is the matter?</string>

<string id="120">Bishop Quentinus suspects that judge Vallarian belongs to an ancient cult called the Children of the New Order. Have you heard anything about that cult?</string>

<string id="121">It reminds me something. If I remember correctly, it was a cult of demonists established in the Empire several centuries ago by a heretic named Lucius. He declared himself the Dark prophet of Satan and started to proclaim speedy fall of the God's earthly realm. He gathered numerous fanatics, which pinned their faith to him and supposed that before long the world will end. Eventually all were caught and burned, even though many of them were of high status. Why do you think judge Vallarian would be a part of the long dead cult? I'm sure there is plenty of new ones these days.</string>

<string id="122">Judge Vallarian told me strange things when I was arresting him. He said the day will come soon when some new order arises and its children will rule the world. That, he said, was foretold long ago.</string>

<string id="123">Well... yes, you are right, it sounds weird. But I'm positive it is not related. Regrettably I hear such talking quite often. Or do you have any other evidence connecting Vallarian with that dead cult of Satan's worshippers?</string>

<string id="124">I'm not sure if it is related, but Bishop Quentinus found this strange scroll written by unknown letters among judge Vallarian's belongings. He supposes that if we could decipher it we would get a lead for uncovering plans of judge Vallarian. And it may clarify his possible connection with the Children of the New Order.</string>

<string id="125">Let me see... Yes, it really is quite strange writing. I've never seen anything like that. It almost resembles a code. You say it was amongst Vallarian's belongings? Well... To tell the truth it gives me the jitters just to look on that scroll. Whatever it is surely no good will come out of it. I'm sorry, but I can't help you with it, sir. I've told you all I know about the Children of the New Order, and I even can't say if this scroll proves Vallarian's connection to them.</string>

<string id="126">Well... what a pity.</string>

<string id="127">But I can help you another way, sir. I know a person, which for sure knows more about the Children of the New Order. I speak about Monsignor Trevorius, diocesan Bishop in Glatzburg. He is very educated man and fiercely fights against all that endanger true faith, and so I presume he could be able to give you some advice. I will write you a letter for him asking him to cooperate. Give it to him and you'll see he'll gladly assist you.</string>

<string id="128">Thank you, master.</string>

<string id="129">You're welcome, sir. Our goal is the same. These strange events have to be thoroughly investigated. It may show judge Vallarian was only a moonstruck heretic without a connection to any cult, but we have to know it for sure. Here is the letter for Bishop Trevorius. And give him my best regards. It's been some time since we met.</string>

<string id="130">Than you. May I speak with you a while longer?</string>

<string id="131">But of course. What interests you?</string>

<string id="132">Thank you, master. Farewell.</string>

<string id="133">Farewell, sir. And good luck.</string>

<string id="134">May I talk with you for a moment?</string>

<string id="135">But of course, sir. What interests you?</string>

<string id="136">I think I've found your sword, master. Is it this one?</string>

<string id="137">Really, that is my sword! The First prophet himself bless you, sir. Where did you found it?</string>

<string id="138">In the orcish caverns deep under the Moonshine Mountains. It was wielded by your magic twin, summoned by heretics to make you suspicious of heresy.</string>

<string id="139">Really? So I was right! Theft of my sword was connected with that man—or that creature of hell you're speaking about—which people had seen among the green skins during the orcish siege of the town. I would have never believed judge Vallarian was behind it. I sincerely thank you once more, sir. I'm greatly indebted to you. Accept, please, this item as a token of my deep gratitude.</string>

<string id="140">Thank you. May I speak with you for a while more?</string>

<string id="141">Sure, sir. Ask your questions.</string>

<string id="142">Thank you, master. Farewell.</string>

<string id="143">Well... it seems I have not convinced you of my innocence. I'm really sorry to hear that. You are making a terrible mistake. Somewhere outside there are heretics capable of anything and no one knows what they are up to. I doubt murders and robbing the dead will be enough for them. They pursue something greater. Something that sends shivers down my spine. And you've come to arrest me for a suspicion of heresy. Me, the only man trying to find real culprits in this labyrinth of villainy. I appeal to you to reconsider this, if you are trying to act in the name of justice. Reconsider while there is still time!</string>

<string id="144">The time is out already. Moreover, if you are really innocent, you have nothing to fear. Will you go with me peacefully?</string>

<string id="145">Don't worry, sir, I won't resist, although I'm confident I could stop you. I will go with you consentingly. I just wanted you to realize you are making a grave mistake. Well, let's go. I have nothing to fear because I'm in God's hands.</string>

<string id="146">You may be right, master. It will be better for me to look into this matter once more in order to be sure.</string>

And numbers of those monsters do not dwindle—in fact they rise. And moreover there are those conflicts between our Brotherhood and the Holy Inquisition. One would think that under such circumstances all who wish to fight common danger would unite, but it is just opposite. Instead of broad help the Holy Office tries to blacken our name and subject us to its jurisdiction. It is scandalous!</string>

<string id="166">Yes, I am perfectly aware of that. And I presume you have been entrusted by judge Vallarian to find evidence against me and prove me guilty of heresy?</string>

<string id="167">You could say that.</string>

<string id="168">In that case I must repeat to you what I already told to inquisitorial prosecutor Jeremiah when he came to interrogate me. I'm innocent. I committed no crime, which I could confess before God, or before any other secular or ecclesiastical court. So I swear by all which is sacred to me!</string>

<string id="169">So how could it happen you are suspected of heresy? Allegedly it was you who let the orcs into the town during their assault on Hillbrandt...</string>

<string id="170">My defense against this false allegation is simple, sir, although hardly believable. At the moment of that insidious attack of green skins on the town I was not in Hillbrandt. Hence the person sighted when allowing orcs to enter the town could not be me. It had to be someone just pretending to be me.</string>

<string id="171">And where were you, then? What happened?</string>

<string id="172">The day before that night attack on Hillbrandt I got an anonymous message. Someone told me to come to the Dragon Rock in the evening. The message promised me I would learn some information about heretics that I have been searching for in vain for some time. It should have struck me it is a trap, but I really needed a hint for my investigation as I was in a deadlock. So I carelessly went to the place of the meeting. I was ready for all things possible, but the web of infernal magic had devoured me before I could do anything. Only then I realized my error and when I fell into a devilish world of nightmares it was already too late. I will not try to convey to you what I had dreamed during that deep and corrupted sleep. It was a terrible nightmare full of cruelty and bizarreness of the worst sort. When I awoke I was sick and exhausted. I had no idea I spent full three days there!</string>

<string id="175">Why would someone try to defame you in such way?</string>

<string id="176">Defame? No, sir, someone is trying to destroy me! He tries to bring me to the court, so I can be executed for heresy and for high treason. And I know very well the reason. When all those strange things started happening in Hillbrandt I immediately conceived there would be some connection. First it was the murder of Kurt Ollmier the merchant. He was quite an eccentric man and traded everything possible, maybe even occult items strictly forbidden by the Church. I think he was murdered because of some item he possessed and didn't want to sell. Or the murderer wanted to stop him from telling something that should not be told. Not long after that young Baroness Gwenn von Weill died. I've never concealed my suspicion she did not die a natural death. She was young, fresh as a flower and vigorous, I liked her very much. Despite of that she died under unexplainable circumstances and in the twinkling of an eye her body vanished from the grave!</string>

<string id="177">Why should have these two crimes anything common?</string>

<string id="178">Call it an intuition, sir. During those long twenty years I've been serving in the Brotherhood I learned to trust my intuition. Those two crimes are connected. I can swear on it. And that's why I investigated both cases together. Although in the case of the merchant Ollmier's murder I was clueless, when searching for thieves of Gwenn von Weill's body I managed to find a witness. It was Bishop Quentinus and he contacted me himself. He told me that one night in the graveyard he witnessed a group of heretics stealing the body of young Baroness. And he even recognized one of them.</string>

<string id="179">Really? And who was it?</string>

<string id="180">I could not believe it at first, but Bishop Quentinus was positive he recognized Linda van Gallagan, wife of the royal vice-governor of Hillbrandt, Baron Robert van Gallagan. I decided to question her, but she refused to cooperate and moreover threatened me that if I would bother her with such nonsense she would complain to her husband and through him to Duke Weinberg. It reassured me in my intent to find out what has Baroness to do with this matter. But then the things I have already told you about happened—it was before I managed to advance with the investigation. Moreover, Bishop Quentinus disappeared without a trace during the orcish assault on the town and I became suspicious of his kidnapping as well. It's all slowly beginning to fit together. Surely the Bishop was kidnapped so he could not bespeak against Baroness Linda van Gallagan. And I was to be accused of heresy just because I revealed the heretics. Don't you understand, sir? It is a conspiracy!</string>

<string id="181">It very well might be so, master. The only question is who is the culprit. What if you are lying and trying to send me on a false trail?</string>

<string id="182">In that case I do not doubt you will soon make it out yourself. But if you really care about justice, find out who is behind all those crimes which took place in Hillbrandt and which even may not be all known to me. I'm sure that the murder of Kurth Ollmier the merchant, the obscure death of poor Gwenn von Weill, the theft of her body and the kidnapping of Bishop Quentinus are connected and that Baroness Linda van Gallagan is mixed up in them. If you could find the real culprit behind all these impieties, you would also purge my name. If I may advise you, go talk to beggar Flitz. He hangs about the town tavern all the time and so he could see something important the night Ollmier the merchant was murdered. Though he told me he saw nothing, you may have better luck.</string>

<string id="183">Culprits of the crimes in Hillbrandt will be uncovered, I will take care of that. And thank you for the advice.</string>

<string id="184">Excellent, sir. I hope your investigation will have better results than mine. But I'd like to ask you for one more favor. When I was lying by the Dragon rock bound by the infernal magic of the heretics my paladin sword disappeared. It is an unspeakable dishonor to me—the sword symbolizes the paladin's rank in the Brotherhood. It's unthinkable anyone would let himself be deprived of it, the less so the master of the order. Therefore I want it back at any cost. Could you look for it, sir?</string>

<string id="185">The man suspicious of heresy won't tell me what to do.</string>

<string id="186">As you wish, sir. But I told you the truth. Remember one thing: if this is a conspiracy, then you are in the same danger as I am. Take care!</string>

<string id="187">You are probably right. Thank you for the advice.</string>

<string id="188">You are welcome, sir. But I'd like to ask you for one more favor. When I was lying by the Dragon rock bound by infernal magic of heretics my paladin sword disappeared. It is an unspeakable dishonor to me—the sword symbolizes the paladin's rank in the Brotherhood. It's unthinkable anyone would let himself be deprived of it, the less so the master of the order. Therefore I want it back at any cost. Could you look for it, sir?</string>

<string id="189">Do not care, master. I can take care of myself even without your advice. And if I will find out all those terrible crimes are your work, you may be sure you will regret it!</string>

<string id="190">Yes, I'm sure you can. May God be with you, sir.</string>

<string id="191">I found Bishop Quentin in the orcish caverns deep under the Moonshine Mountains, master. He is being held there.</string>

<string id="192">In that case you have to free him as soon as possible, sir! The only testimony we can presently get is his.</string>

<string id="193">I found Bishop Quentin in the orcish caverns deep under the Moonshine Mountains, master. I succeeded in freeing him. I suppose he is already back in Hillbrandt.</string>

<string id="194">If it is so, go and talk with him as soon as possible. You will assure yourself of my innocence. Baroness Linda van Gallagan has to tell the truth!</string>

<string id="195">I found and freed Bishop Quentin, master. He was held in the orcish caverns deep under the Moonshine Mountains. On the basis of his testimony it seems Baroness Linda van Gallagan really committed the crime you told me about.</string>

<string id="196">See? I told you. Now, when you have the testimony of Bishop Quentin, you may start gathering more evidence against Baroness van Gallagan.</string>

<string id="197">Master Edmond d'Arvias, I arrest you for heresy and high treason on the basis of reasonable suspicion.</string>

<string id="198">Welcome, sir. Do you bring me my sword of the Brotherhood? I trust you managed to find it. It is an unspeakable dishonor to me to let it be stolen from me.</string>

<string id="199">I'm sorry, but I do not have it yet. May I speak with you, master?</string>

<string id="200">Ask your questions, sir. What do you need to know?</string>

<string id="201">I don't have your sword yet. But I've found out who has it.</string>

<string id="202">Who? Who is that foul thief?</string>

<string id="203">In the orcish caverns deep under the Moonshine Mountains I met a creature of Hell, whom I at first considered to be you. It was indistinguishable from you. But consequently I found out it was not a human being. And just that creature wielded your sword.</string>

<string id="204">Really? That explains a lot. Yes, I'm starting to understand it! The man seen amongst the green skins during the assault on Hillbrandt was not me. It was that creature of Hell you told me about! Heretics had stolen my sword just to be able to summon my unclean twin! Thank you sir. This is a grave news indeed. You did me a great favor. But I have to get that sword back! I won't allow it to be wielded by some monster!</string>

<string id="205">You may rely upon me, master. I will bring it to you.</string>

<string id="206">Thank you, sir. Can I do something for you?</string>

<string id="207">I'd like to ask you some questions.</string>

<string id="208">But of course, sir. Ask right away. What do you need to know?</string>

<string id="209">No, master. Farewell.</string>

<string id="210">Here is your sword, master.</string>

<string id="211">Really, that is my sword! The First prophet himself bless you, sir. Where did you found it?</string>

<string id="212">In the orcish caverns deep under the Moonshine Mountains. It was wielded by creature indistinguishable from you.</string>

<string id="213">Really? That explains a lot. Yes, I'm starting to understand it! The man seen amongst the green skins during the assault on Hillbrandt was not me. It was that creature of Hell you told me about! Heretics had stolen my sword just to be able to summon my unclean twin! Thank you, sir. You did me a great favor. Accept, please, this item as a token of my deep gratitude!</string>

<string id="214">Thank you, master. May I ask you several more questions?</string>

<string id="215">But of course, sir. Ask right away. What do you need to know?</string>

<string id="216">Thank you, master. And may God be with you.</string>

<string id="217">Master Edmond d'Arvias, I arrest you for heresy and high treason on the basis of reasonable suspicion.</string>

<string id="218">Welcome, sir. How is your investigation going? Have you found something new?</string>

<string id="219">Maybe. May I talk with you?</string>

<string id="220">Certainly, sir. What do you need to know?</string>

<string id="221">Master Edmond d'Arvias, I arrest you for heresy and high treason on the basis of reasonable suspicion.</string>

<string id="222">Welcome, sir. Thank you again for returning my stolen sword. I hope I will be able to repay this debt someday. How is your investigation going?</string>

<string id="223">Quite well. May I talk with you?</string>

<string id="224">Certainly, sir. What do you need to know?</string>

<string id="225">Master Edmond d'Arvias, I arrest you for heresy and high treason on the basis of reasonable suspicion.</string>

<string id="226">Welcome, master. I owe you my deepest apology for that regrettable error...</string>

<string id="227">Do you mean that incident when you arrested me and accused me of heresy? Yes, I think I deserve an apology for that. But nay, let's forget about it. Now I know you tried to act righteously—although I was absolutely innocent. I hope it has opened your eyes and you will think more about things before you decide to act. Furthermore, who would think that culprit of all those crimes was judge Vallarian—your own superior, am I right?</string>

<string id="228">Welcome, master. I'm glad you finally proved to be innocent.</string>

<string id="229">I'm glad too, sir. These times are desperate and one may be sure of nothing. And above all you may not trust anything and anybody, which is proven by the case of judge Vallarian. To tell the truth I still haven't been able to overcome it. I've known there are heretics hidden amidst us, but I would have never guessed judge Vallarian is one of them. You have my appreciation for uncovering him, sir.</string>

<string id="230">Welcome, sir. I'm glad to see you again. What can I do for you?</string>

<string id="231">Good day, sir. I'm glad to see you again. How is your investigation going?</string>

<string id="232">Quite well, master. I'd like to talk to you for a moment, if it's possible.</string>

<string id="233">But of course, sir. I'll gladly talk with you. What's on your heart?</string>

<string id="234">It's harder and harder. Sometimes I have a feeling I can't go on, that it's more than I can handle. So much evil, filth, hypocrisy, disguises, intrigues, trickery and death... I'm really bone-tired by all that!</string>

<string id="235">I'm not surprised, sir. There is far more on you shoulders than any man can bear. But do not lose your heart! As the Holy Scriptures say, have faith and faith will strengthen you... And if not the faith then these potions surely will. Take them, I'm sure they will help you in your worst moment. And accept also some gold, I gladly present it to you from the coffers of our chapter. I know these are only humble gifts, but believe me I do not have anything else! You will surely succeed, sir!</string>

<string id="236">Thank you, master. I gladly accept your gifts. May I ask you some questions now?</string>

<string id="237">Certainly, sir. What do you need to know?</string>

<string id="238">It's noble of you, master. Farewell.</string>

<string id="239">Farewell, sir. And good luck. You will need it, I guess.</string>

<string id="240">Sursum corda, sir. Our destiny is in God's hands! I'm sure you will again find the strength to continue in your mission. Can I do something for you?</string>

<string id="241">May I speak with you?</string>

<string id="242">Certainly, sir. What do you need to know?</string>

<string id="243">Thank you, master, but I don't need anything now. Farewell.</string>

<string id="244">Farewell, sir. And good luck. You will need it, I guess.</string>

<string id="245">It could be better. But I do not lose my faith. Goodbye for now.</string>

<string id="246">Farewell, sir. And when you are passing by, be sure to drop in. I will be glad to see you.</string>

<strings>

<string id="000">What do you think of the crisis that is spreading throughout the Realm?</string>

<string id="001">All the disasters that have happened in Ultherst in recent years are nothing other than the Scourges of God bestowed upon us to punish our sinful lives. I'm not talking only about heretics, although splinters and cultists have major part in all that wrongness. I mean the whole life of faithful people. Look around yourself and tell me, is this how God's earthly realm should be like?</string>

<string id="002">Well... probably not.</string>

<string id="003">I agree. Sin and debauchery are everywhere—murders, robberies, violence, sacrileges, incest, gossip, sins, slough and unworthiness. What else could our Lord do than to impose penance on us to make us show him we are worthy of his love?! Yes, we must walk this thorny path through the vale of tears and drink bitter wine till the last drop. Only then we shall be purified and our Lord shall accept us again to his warm bosom!</string>

<string id="004">I'm sorry, but I won't speak with you about that!</string>

<string id="005">What do you think about Grand Master Christoffer de Malamert? Is he really a heretic as some people say?</string>

<string id="006">I'm sure Grand Master Christoffer de Malamert is innocent and unblemished by sin. He is like an eternally blooming lily, shining with purity even amidst the dirt and human filthiness. It's a judicial error. Those who brought such a disgusting accusation against him will be smitten by the thunderbolt of God's wrath. But it's true many people do not share this opinion of mine... It's hard to believe something firmly these days when heresy flourishes like some malign disease.</string>

<string id="007">I'm sorry, but I won't speak with you about that!</string>

<string id="008">Have a fierce storm accompanied by unnatural spectacles occurred here in Alvaron in recent days?</string>

<string id="009">I do not remember any fierce storm, son. And I doubt something could elude my attention, even if it would have happened in the midst of the darkest night. I'm a light sleeper.</string>

<string id="010">I'm sorry, but I won't speak with you about that!</string>

<string id="011">What do you know about the Fallen Angels?</string>

<string id="012">The Fallen Angels are the very essence of the dark side of faithful religion, son. Their names should not be uttered aloud. Don't you know heretics constantly repeat their names when summoning hellspawns? But do not be afraid—you will get your answer. The Fallen Angels are four supernatural beings, which together with Satan were thrown down from heaven by God's wrath into the infernal flames for crimes against the God's order. They are Arthamon, the ruler of infernal fires, Baphomet, the destroyer of order and the sower of madness, Cerdie, the mistress of debauchery and of bodily sin, and the Fallen Archangel Azrael, the most dreadful of Satan's champions and the emissary of the ultimate evil.</string>

<string id="013">I'm sorry, but I won't speak with you about that!</string>

<string id="014">I search for heretics here in Alvaron. Have you any suspicions?</string>

<string id="015">I'm sorry, but I do not have any suspicions of heresy. If I had, I would immediately let you know, you may be sure about that!</string>

<string id="016">I'm sorry, but I won't speak with you about that!</string>

<string id="017">Did something noteworthy happen in Alvaron lately?</string>

<string id="018">I heard that paladin Richwald d'Blazier was found in Schwarzwald some time ago, completely turned into stone. A witch named Corin is suspicious of that crime; Richwald supposedly met her several times in the deepest regions of Schwarzwald. I do not know if there's any truth to that, but if the paladin let himself become bewitched it's his and only his fault. Witches have to be treated as they deserve—with flame and hammer!</string>

<string id="019">I'm sorry, but I won't speak with you about that!</string>

<string id="020">I'm investigating the murder of paladin Richwalda d'Blazier. Do you know anything about it?</string>

<string id="021">I know about the d'Blazier's murder only what the locals say. And they say he was murderer by a witch named Corin; she turned him into stone. If it is true, it was his fault. Witches have to be treated as they deserve—with flame and hammer!</string>

<string id="022">I'm sorry, but I won't speak with you about that!</string>

<string id="023">I'm looking for a way to break the curse of stryx. Could you give me some advice?</string>

<string id="024">Break the curse of stryx you say? Well... in that case I won't give you any advice. In my opinion that infernal creature should be killed and burned and you should not try to break it's curse. You may never be sure how it can end...</string>

<string id="025">I'm sorry, but I won't speak with you about that!</string>

<string id="026">I'm looking for the members of the Cult of Pagan Night, especially for their leader, Juhasz Gotherr alias Zan Dremo. Do you happen to know where he could be hiding?</string>

<string id="027">To tell the truth I know Juhasz Gotherr personally—although I wish I never met him. Because of that I'm convinced that he stays here in Alvaron. Several times I had a feeling I see him creeping through the city at night. But although I always reported it both to the Inquisition and to the town guard, he was not captured. He is devious like Satan himself!</string>

<string id="028">I'm sorry, but I won't speak with you about that!</string>

<string id="029">Priest Nicolas states he was wrongfully alleged of raping Grand Duchess Liana Lambert. Do you know anything about it?</string>

<string id="030">Brother Nicolas says he is innocent, and Grand Duchess Liana Lambert says she has been raped. Sadly I must say the word of the royal governor's wife weights more than the word of young priest. I wish it could be settled down somehow and I wish Nicholas could be proven innocent, but I have no proof...</string>

<string id="031">I'm sorry, but I won't speak with you about that!</string>

<string id="032">That's all, farewell.</string>

<string id="033">Of course I don't want it for free...</string>

<string id="034">I hope you're just joking, son.</string>

<string id="035">All right.</string>

<string id="045">Alright, nothing...</string>

<string id="046">Well... It's a serious crime for sure, but in my eyes it's not so outrageous as the other crime which I have on my mind. I'm sure the worst offence against the dead is robbing their graves. Those who commit such crimes are the worst scavengers and disdain the most basic principles of true faith. To disturb peaceful rest of the dead by stealing their property is really monstrous and deserves the strictest punishment!</string>

<string id="047">You may be right... But why are we discussing it in the first place?</string>

<string id="048">Because I'm very worried, lately there have been too many graves robbed here in Alvaron. I should explain myself, I'm Augustin and I'm in charge of the city cemetery and the sepulcher. So you surely can imagine my grievance about the crimes which some unknown heretics commit by robbing the graves and disturbing not only the remembrance of the deceased, but also their eternal peace. Only God knows how many dead have risen just because of those sacrilegious thieves!</string>

<string id="049">I will help you with your problem if you wish. I'll find who robs those graves...</string>

<strings>

<string id="000">I'm trying to find out how I could remove the curse from the House of Baron Dawn von Blutenreich. Any advice?</string>

<string id="001">I remember Baron Dawn von Blutenreich very well, noble lord. He was a chubby reserved man—a decent fellow—at least so it seemed. But in fact he was a pervert and a sadist who in the course of his baleful life tortured all his twelve wives and countless children to death. He always managed to arrange it so cleverly that nobody suspected him. Divine providence crossed his villainous path when he married his thirteenth wife. She defied his bestial cruelty and being helpless, she decided to poison him. Of course, as a poisoner, she was sentenced to death, which was even more undeserved, as all the heinous crimes of her husband came out during the process. But law is above us all and so the poor woman was executed.</string>

<string id="002">Go on...</string>

<string id="003">Of course. As I've told you, the thirteenth Baron's wife was executed, but before she breathed her last, she uttered a terrible curse. The Baron was not to find peace unless all of his innocent victims did. Nobody suspected the curse to take effect on the very same night—it forced the Baron's tarnished spirit to the residence of the von Blutenreich family and made it a house of horrors.</string>

<string id="004">Very interesting... Thank you.</string>

<string id="005">You're welcome, noble lord. Even though it happened half a century ago I still remember it as if it were yesterday…</string>

<string id="006">I'm sorry, I'm not going to talk about that with you!</string>

<string id="007">Who rules here in Alvaron?</string>

<string id="008">If my memory serves me—and it should, right? Alvaron is ruled by Grand Duke Drake Lambert, who acts here as the royal governor. The vice-governor is Duchess Vanessa of Kenthworth. She's a very genteel dame, I must say.</string>

<string id="009">I'm sorry, I'm not going to talk about that with you!</string>

<string id="010">Where can I buy some equipment in Alvaron?</string>

<string id="011">Well, it depends on what you want to buy. Leon van den Brooks has his famous armory in Alvaron. Apothecary Thelma Ulthraum and master alchemist Albert Kelley can provide you with potions and various magic stuff. Landlord William Burton and innkeeper Salena Flock sell just about everything.</string>

<string id="012">I'm sorry, I'm not going to talk about that with you!</string>

<string id="013">What do you think about Grand Master Christoffer de Malamert? Is he really a heretic as some people say?</string>

<string id="014">You ask me whether Grand Master Christoffer de Malamert belongs to the heretics? Hmmm... it's hard to say, noble lord. But the truth is that Grand Master de Malamert is not exactly popular among people—lots of them think he's a heretic who has betrayed God to serve Satan. That makes people even more afraid of the future, because if such a high ranking man can be a heretic, whom can we trust?</string>

<string id="015">I'm sorry, I'm not going to talk about that with you!</string>

<string id="016">Is it possible to get any reward here in Alvaron for killing a monster?</string>

<string id="017">If my memory serves me well, Grand Duke Drake Lambert offered a huge reward for hunting down werewolves who are pestering not only the woods around the city but the city streets as well. The reward will be paid by Sheriff Henry Portmann for every trophy, that means for every werewolf head.</string>

<string id="018">I'm sorry, I'm not going to talk about that with you!</string>

<string id="019">Did something noteworthy happen in Alvaron lately?</string>

<string id="020">If I remember correctly, not a long time ago there were some rumors about stallholder Sandra Ullmann. She tried to get the attention of noble paladin Richwald d'Blazier by rather indiscrete means. People say she was like a bitch in heat. Nevertheless the paladin kept ignoring her, though not because of his status or because of his oath of purity, but because of some witch from Schwarzwald with whom he fell in love. Sandra Ullmann was supposedly pale with fury.</string>

<string id="021">I'm sorry, I'm not going to talk about that with you!</string>

<string id="022">I'm investigating the murder of paladin Richwald d'Blazier. Do you know anything about it?</string>

<string id="023">Well, according to what I've heard, paladin Richwald d'Blazier was found dead in Schwarzwald. Turned to stone, at least so people say. I'd bet that the Schwarzwald hag who bewitched him has something to do with that!</string>

<string id="024">I'm sorry, I'm not going to talk about that with you!</string>

<string id="025">I'm looking for the members of the Cult of Pagan Night, especially for their leader, Juhasz Gotherr alias Zan Dremo. Do you happen to know where he could be hiding?</string>

<string id="026">I have absolutely no idea where you should start looking for Juhasz Gotherr, noble lord. Some say he fled from the city and is now hiding somewhere at the northern outskirts of the Realm, others would swear that he's stalking the streets of the city at night.</string>

<string id="027">I'm sorry, I'm not going to talk about that with you!</string>

<string id="028">Priest Nicolas states he was wrongfully alleged of raping Grand Duchess Liana Lambert. Do you know anything about it?</string>

<string id="029">I think that Grand Duchess Liana lies. I remember her when she was a child—she was a vain spoiled girl, who had to have everything she imagined. Well and she has not changed a little bit. Moreover, people say she's a passionate strumpet, who would not hesitate to commit any wickedness to satisfy her insatiable lust for bodily pleasures. I can easily imagine that she wanted to seduce Father Nicolas and when he refused her she, in her vanity, came out with that false accusation. Well, I don't have any evidence and of course I won't tell anybody else about this idea of mine. I'm glad I still have my tongue where it's supposed to be...</string>

<string id="030">I'm sorry, I'm not going to talk about that with you!</string>

<string id="031">Are there any legends or rumors connected with Alvaron?</string>

<string id="032">Have you heard about Joan the cursed girl of the netherworld? It's a very sad story—and it's even sadder when you realize that it might be true. People say that there's a girl named Joan living at the graveyard who was turned into a stryx by a terrible curse. She's now a being coveting blood and vengeance. People say that it was her own mother who cursed her—she was a priestess of the Order of St. Bethesda who was defiled and impregnated by a certain lewd priest. Joan's mother could not bear such a disgrace and went mad. When she gave birth to her daughter she cursed her not to rest until the blood of her father sprinkles her lips. Then she committed suicide and Joan died soon after her—at least everybody thought so. Though even in the grave the curse was changing her for thirteen years until she transformed into a stryx who came to life and has started stalking the city streets in search of her father. She wants to deliver the curse of her mad mother from the netherworld...</string>

<string id="033">I'm sorry, I'm not going to talk about that with you!</string>

<string id="034">That's all, farewell.</string>

<string id="035">Of course I don't want it for free...</string>

<string id="036">If you really want to know that, noble lord, it will cost you $$moneypopTargetPop$$ gp.</string>

<string id="037">All right.</string>

<string id="038">I don't have that much.</string>

<string id="039">In that case I can't help you...</string>

<string id="040">I won't give you that much!</string>

<string id="041">In that case I can't help you...</string>

<string id="042">I'll give you no more than 10 gp.</string>

<string id="043">In that case I can't help you...</string>

<string id="056">And have you already remembered what your denunciation is about?</string>

<string id="057">No. That's the problem—I've not remembered yet. But it's really terribly important, I'm sure of it. Otherwise I would have forgotten it completely.</string>

<string id="058">Is there a way to help you remember the event you would like to tell me about?</string>

<string id="059">I don't know, noble lord. But it's just the thing I was going to ask you about. If you could find some way—maybe some magical potion or a powerful spell—to get my memory back, at least for a moment, I could make the denunciation.</string>

<string id="060">Very well then, I'll try to find a way to restore your memory.</string>

<string id="061">God bless you for your help, noble lord. I promise that with my testimony you will be able to cope with the heresy which is rampant all around.</string>

<string id="067">What can you offer me for restoring your memory?</string>

<string id="068">Well, noble lord, my testimony, of course. Have you forgotten what were we talking about?!</string>

<string id="069">I am sorry but I don't have time for such errands. You will have to remember on your own.</string>

<string id="070">Well... I'll keep trying, noble lord, but I don't think my chances are very high. Once I forget it's lost forever.</string>

<string id="071">Well, that's too bad. Now, could I ask you some more questions?</string>

<string id="084">Yes, it's a likely explanation. But anyway, could you tell me who you are?</string>

<string id="086">Calm down, take your time, good man. I'm sure you will remember in time. Years often bring forgetfulness...</string>

<string id="087">Yes, right. That's exactly... er... what they bring. Oh, I remember now! The name is Balthazar, noble lord. At least people call me like that, well, it's quite natural anyway—it's my name, isn't it...</string>

<string id="088">If you even don't remember your name I should not be wasting my time on you, good man. Goodbye.</string>

<string id="089">Balthazar! Yes, that's my name—Balthazar. People call me that way, which is quite natural—it's my name, isn't it...</string>

<string id="090">Why do you think that nowadays the situation in the Realm has been caused by heretics?</string>

<string id="091">Why? Because they have undermined the foundations of the faith! They have damaged the only thing that seemed unfaltering—the faith in our Lord. Who would think a few years back that heresy and fallacy would be so widespread? Just peek into the houses of your neighbors and you'll see that only sin flourishes there instead of virtue. And their excuse? They say God has left us anyway, so there's no need to live in accordance with Holy Scripture and with the Commandments. Why bother with something that can't grant you eternal life in the Kingdom of Heaven? So they say.</string>

<string id="092">Well...</string>

<string id="093">Such lowly thinking! When I was young, they would have been hanging from the trees for saying something like that. That's why I think God is punishing and testing us at the same time. But heresy has already spread like some malignant disease and the henchmen of devils are corrupting the souls of people, so everything is only going to be worse—not better. That's why I think that heretics are behind all the filth that's suffocating us!</string>

<string id="105">So, is it any better? Do you remember something?</string>

<string id="106">I do remember, noble lord! Yes, I remember! The potion worked!</string>

<string id="107">I'm glad to hear that. It was no easy task to acquire it for you. Tell me now, what was the deed you witnessed?</string>

<string id="108">Witnessed? Did I witness something?</string>

<string id="109">It can't be...</string>

<string id="110">I'm sorry, noble lord, I've just dared to make a little joke. The potion restored not only my memory, but my good mood as well. I can't remember feeling so good, ha, ha.</string>

<string id="111">Excellent. Could we now get back to the topic? To the denunciation you wanted to make.</string>

<string id="112">Well then... it was several days back—It was already dark and I was returning home through the streets of the city. I was passing by a tavern and suddenly there was some fuss at the door. I wanted to get away at first, because when there's such a fuss in a pub it might cost you a tooth or two—if not the head. But it was different this time, instead of weapon clangor and groans of the wounded I heard laughter. So I stopped to watch what was to follow.</string>

<string id="113">What happened then?</string>

<string id="114">They were booting out Downay, the former gardener, out of the tavern. I don't know if you've met him, but he's a wicked midget, he is as foul-mouthed as he is mischievous. The runt is willing to do any kind of gleeful mischief or slander—anytime. He used to be the gardener in the Royal Gardens, though since the Scourges our Lord bestowed upon us he hasn't anything to do. He spends all his time in pubs and taverns, even though he can't pay the bills. And when he gets sottish he attacks the patrons—using both mouth and hands. And this is exactly what happened that evening I was talking about.</string>

<string id="115">To the point, please. I don't have time to listen to pub stories.</string>

# !!! mutace end

<string id="117">Thank you, good man. Your witness was a great help.</string>

<string id="118">Yes, thought it could help. It's a shame it took me so long to remember. I hope Downay didn't manage to commit some crime meanwhile…</string>

<string id="119">The investigation will show. Could I ask you some more questions now?</string>

<string id="120">Of course, noble lord. What would you like to know?</string>

<string id="121">Yes, I hope so too. I better go and check it myself. Goodbye.</string>

<string id="122">Goodbye, noble lord. And thanks again for the potion.</string>

<string id="123">Do you know any people who would meet Downay on a regular basis? If he's really a heretic, he will certainly have accomplices.</string>

<string id="124">No, I don't know about any such people. Downay is a loner and a weirdo—he lives in a small house at the edge of the Royal Gardens. I wonder why some of the monsters, which have been living there for the last few years, didn't eat him.</string>

<string id="125">Did Downay really talk about a New Order and its children who will rule the world? Perhaps you misheard.</string>

<string id="126">No, noble lord, I didn't mishear. That's why it made me so nervous. I have no idea who those children are, but it gives me chills. It sounds like... a heresy!</string>

Well, maybe he went too far, it would have been better for him if he got just some street whore, but I guess he was a victim of circumstances, if you know what I mean. Well, that's all I can tell you for myself. I've never heard that he could be innocent!</string>

<string id="039">I won't tell you anything about it!</string>

<string id="040">Are there any legends or rumors connected with Alvaron?</string>

<string id="041">Have you ever heard the legend of Wolfenburg—the lair of wolf-prince Wulfhyrr? According to old chronicles, Wolfenburg became the seat of the Lords of Wolfenburg in the seventh century. The Wolfenburg family was infamous for their cruelty and violence towards their subjects. The rumor is that wolf-prince Wulfhyrr was the last of their line. Though his name was Ronald then and as regards cruelty, none of his ancestor could match with him. One day he kidnapped a young beautiful seeress who lived near his castle and raped her terribly.</string>

<string id="042">That's horrifying! What happened next?</string>

<string id="043">The ravished seeress threatened Ronald to turn him in to the Holy Mother Church. But it was a mistake, because the atrocious Duke blatantly killed her. The seeress managed to curse her murderer before she died and Duke turned into an abhorrent wolfish beast. When Ronald's serfs got to know what happened to their Lord, they did not hesitate to grab pitchforks and sharpen broadaxes and soon they overran Wolfenburg. Though they did not get rid of their Duke. After some time, first people got missing and their bloody scraps were to be found far and wide. The rumor is Duke Ronald returned as wolf-prince Wulfhyrr to take bloody revenge for what happened to him. Since then he and his werewolf pack pester the country...</string>

<string id="044">I won't tell you anything about it!</string>

<string id="045">That's all, farewell.</string>

<string id="046">Of course I don't want it for free...</string>

Now, let's switch the side cards for the last time... and we're finished. Which of them is the Devil's Emissary? I'm sure you watched it vigilantly...</string>

<string id="122">I'll draw several cards from the deck—the number depends on you, but five is the maximum. One of them always is the Devil's Emissary. Then I'll put the chosen cards face down on the table and will shuffle them just before your eyes. Well and your task is to guess which of them is the Devil's Emissary. The bet is always 10 gp; we can play with two, three, four or with five cards, so you can win 20 gp, 35 gp, 50 gp or 65 gp accordingly.</string>

<string id="123">I'm sorry, sir, I won't play with you any further. You've cost me lots of money, so I will stay away from gambling for awhile. Is there anything else I can help you with?</string>

<string id="003">I don't say that it's the most interesting event of these days, but I was in Salena Flock's pub and I overheard a conversation between that odd trader Ihman ab Sahab and priest Gilbert. Grand Duke's worst weakness is his wife, Grand Duchess Liana Lambert. Well, the rumor is that she's... ehm... a slut. People say she's cheating on him and that she's insatiable as regards sexual pleasures. But it's his problem, not mine, right? Well, Duchess Vanessa of Kenthworth is a very foppish and conceited dame. She would do anything to stop the time and prevent herself from aging. It's said that each new wrinkle makes her mad. Apothecary Thelma Ulthraum and master alchemist Albert Kelley can provide you with potions and various magic goods. Landlord William Burton and innkeeper Salena Flock sell just about everything. <string id="055">Well, pardon me, noble sir, but my memory has just failed me...</string>

<string id="056">I'm not going to give you that much.</string>

<string id="057">Well, pardon me, noble sir, but my memory has just failed me...</string>

<string id="058">I'm looking for a heretic cult named The Children of the New Order. Have you heard about it?</string>

<string id="059">It's going to cost you $$getmoney20$$ gp.</string>

<string id="060">Here you are.</string>

<string id="061">Well, to tell the truth I have a feeling that I might have heard somebody talking about that cult. But I don't recall who it was.</string>

<string id="062">You better remember, for I've already paid you.</string>

<string id="063">Yes, you're right. I think it was Downay the Gardener, that ugly midget who's wandering through the city streets—always drunk. Guess it was him, but I can't be completely sure.</string>

<string id="064">Well...</string>

<string id="065">Really, I'm not sure, noble sir. Well, perhaps I was drunk as well when I heard him... sorry.</string>

<string id="066">I don't have that much.</string>

<string id="067">Well, pardon me, noble sir, but my memory has just failed me...</string>

<string id="068">I'm not going to give you that much.</string>

<string id="069">Well, pardon me, noble sir, but my memory has just failed me...</string>

<string id="070">I'm investigating the murder of paladin Richwald d'Blazier. Do you know anything about it?</string>

<string id="071">Well, it's gonna cost you $$getmoney30$$ gp.</string>

<string id="072">Here you are.</string>

<string id="073">It's rumored that the paladin was charmed by a witch from Schwarzwald. People say her name's Corin, but I have no idea if it's her real name. Well, there's an interesting thing, there was another skirt wooing our paladin. Sandra Ullmann, a local stallholder. She's rather good-looking I must say, but the paladin refused her. But not because of celibacy or his holy mission—he refused her because of Corin. People say he wanted to leave the Brotherhood and wed Corin. So I think that maybe Sandra Ullmann could be behind the murder—there's nothing worse than a woman scorned...</string>

<string id="074">I don't have that much.</string>

<string id="075">Well, pardon me, noble sir, but my memory has just failed me...</string>

<string id="076">I'm not going to give you that much.</string>

<string id="077">Well, pardon me, noble sir, but my memory has just failed me...</string>

<string id="078">I need to get a testimony from a dead person. I suppose you couldn't help me with that?</string>

<string id="079">It's going to cost you $$getmoney20$$ gp.</string>

<string id="080">Here you are.</string>

<string id="081">Well, I once heard Alberto Kelley, the master alchemist, talking about heretics who professedly can contact the Netherworld and make the dead talk. They use the other side of the Power, which offers possibilities undreamed of, but also paves the path to the scaffold—at least it's what he said. So I think that you might ask Kelley if you are interested in such things.</string>

<string id="082">I don't have that much.</string>

<string id="083">Well, pardon me, noble sir, but my memory has just failed me...</string>

<string id="084">I'm not going to give you that much.</string>

<string id="085">Well, pardon me, noble sir, but my memory has just failed me...</string>

<string id="086">I need to get some information about this strange arrow. Could you help me with it?</string>

<string id="087">Well, it's gonna cost you $$getmoney30$$ gp.</string>

<string id="088">Here you are.</string>

<string id="089">Hmmm, doesn't ring the bell—I'm not very good with weapons. Well, try asking master smith Leon van den Brooks—I think it could be his work. Look at the arrowhead—it seems like very fine craftsmanship. By the way... whose blood is it? Oh... well, sorry for such a stupid question...</string>

<string id="090">I don't have that much.</string>

<string id="091">Well, pardon me, noble sir, but my memory has just failed me...</string>

<string id="092">I'm not going to give you that much.</string>

<string id="093">Well, pardon me, noble sir, but my memory has just failed me...</string>

<string id="094">I'm looking for the murderer of His Highness Edward II. Do you happen to know any details about that crime?</string>

<string id="095">Well, it's gonna cost you $$getmoney65$$ gp.</string>

<string id="096">Here you are.</string>

<string id="097">To tell the truth there are dozens of rumors concerning that murder spreading among the people, but I doubt any of them to be true. People often spin a yarn when they don't know what to do. They need that... ehm... certainty. If I were you I'd try looking for clues in the Royal Palace. I'd try questioning Jolliah the jester or Trisstan the Chamberlain—those two were always staying very close to the King, so they could have heard something.</string>

<string id="098">I don't have that much.</string>

<string id="099">Well, pardon me, noble sir, but my memory has just failed me...</string>

<string id="100">I'm not going to give you that much.</string>

<string id="101">Well, pardon me, noble sir, but my memory has just failed me...</string>

<string id="102">I'm tracking the criminals who are letting werewolves into the city every full moon. Do you know anything about them?</string>

<string id="103">Well, it's gonna cost you $$getmoney50$$ gp.</string>

<string id="104">Here you are.</string>

<string id="105">I admit that this is a tough one. Nobody knows how the werewolves can get inside the city—no matter how many guards there are, they are all always fast asleep in the morning. I think that the only one who could identify the criminals who put the soldiers to sleep and who opened the city gates to the werewolves, are those who were kidnapped. The problem is none of them have returned alive...</string>

<string id="106">I don't have that much.</string>

<string id="107">Well, pardon me, noble sir, but my memory has just failed me...</string>

<string id="108">I'm not going to give you that much.</string>

<string id="109">Well, pardon me, noble sir, but my memory has just failed me...</string>

<string id="110">I'm looking for the criminals who loot the graves at the city cemetery and at the graveyards in nearby villages. Do you know anything about them?</string>

<string id="111">Well, it's gonna cost you $$getmoney50$$ gp.</string>

<string id="112">Here you are.</string>

<string id="113">I'd bet that rogue Steinger is behind it. I don't know why but I have a feeling that he's somehow involved... Well, maybe it's because he stole the coins I was gathering all day long from my tray a few days back!</string>

<string id="114">I don't have that much.</string>

<string id="115">Well, pardon me, noble sir, but my memory has just failed me...</string>

<string id="116">I'm not going to give you that much.</string>

<string id="117">Well, pardon me, noble sir, but my memory has just failed me...</string>

<string id="118">That's all, farewell.</string>

<string id="119">I have an issue with you which needs to be straightened out, good man. Results of my investigation show that you are a heretic who uses devilish powers to turn human excrements into gold... What do you say?</string>

<string id="120">Good Lord, I'm no damn heretic! That's not true, noble sir... I swear it's not true! I don't have anything to do with dark powers. You must believe me!</string>

<string id="121">Liar. Salena Flock testified that you paid her with enchanted gold which turned into ordure after some time!</string>

<string id="122">Well, how can you explain then that the gold you used to pay Salena Flock turned into ordure after some time?!</string>

<string id="123">But the gold wasn't mine! It got to me... ehm... by an accident...</string>

<string id="124">What accident?</string>

<string id="125">Ehm... er... you know, noble sir... I just... well, I stole it, that's the story.</string>

<string id="126">How plausible. May I ask to whom it belonged then?</string>

<string id="127">Well, you won't believe it, but it belonged to Father Gilbert, the scribe at the archiepiscopal library. I took his pouch when he was leaving the Cathedral. I thought that good luck finally shone on me after all those years, so I went straight to the Salena Flock's pub to booze it away. Everything was fine, but suddenly the gold turned into shit. You can't even imagine how surprised I was. And Salena Flock was shocked as well, because before she could tell her hulks to beat the shit out of me I managed to run away.</string>

<string id="128">Liar!</string>

<string id="129">I'm not a liar, noble sir. It really happened as I've told you—I swear! Go ask Gilbert where he got that pouch. He's the heretic, not me!</string>

<string id="130">Well, I believe you—at least for now. But be assured that I'm going to check your story...</string>

<string id="131">Yes, please do it, noble sir. I'm really innocent. Well, I admit I stole the pouch, but divine providence punished me, so in fact I've already atoned for my sins.</string>

<string id="132">Are you a beggar, good man?</string>

<string id="133">Nope, I'm Saint Elizabeth! Do I look like a noble? Of course I'm a beggar, what have you thought? And by the way my name is Beckham—if you'd like to know...</string>

<string id="134">I would like to have a little talk with you, good man.</string>

<string id="135">Well, if you say so, noble sir. But it's going to cost you something... You know, I must earn my living.</string>

<string id="136">Beckham? Were you named after that famous hero and lover of dames?</string>

<string id="137">No the name Beckham is after my bloody grandfather—he was a fractious madcap. May black death get him for beating me when I was a little brat...</string>

<string id="138">Oh, I see...</string>

<string id="139">Oh!</string>

<string id="140">Well, then accept this modest gift to help you in your unfortunate fate.</string>

<string id="141">Huh... thank you, noble sir. You've surprised me... I thought you'd just tell me I'm a goof-off who should bugger off. Thanks again. I'll have a toast to your health while drinking it away. What can I do for you?</string>

<string id="142">Well, I have some questions for you...</string>

<string id="143">Go ahead, noble sir. Perhaps I'll provide you with some answers...</string>

<string id="144">Well, in fact I don't have any. Goodbye.</string>

<string id="145">Goodbye, noble sir. And thanks again! May all the Saints help you—they don't care bout me anyway...</string>

<string id="146">Greetings, noble sir. What do you need? What about a little something for a poor miserable beggar?</string>

<string id="147">Well, I have some questions for you...</string>

<string id="148">And would there be some gold as well? My memory is getting really bad, you know.</string>

<string id="149">No, I don't have anything for you. I was just passing by...</string>

<string id="150">Sorry for bothering you, noble sir. Goodbye.</string>

<string id="151">Well, here's something.</string>

<string id="152">Thanks, noble sir! God bless you... I'll have a toast to your health! What can I do for you?</string>
