Further from the audience there is a table covered with white table-cloth. There is an ash-tray and opened bottle of wine on the table. The glass of wine is standing by the bottle. There are also a cigaret, a bottle cork, and a match-box. But the audience can't see those things, because they are covered with starched white napkin. The napkin has folds from folding four times and ironing. The chair is standing next to the table.

A few years ago, ... I don't remember exactly when.. I only remember that it was cold and I entered a book store. I came in only because I had time and it was cold. And there ... In the book store .. when you see all those books you forget what you wanted to buy... you walk along the shelves touching books, flipping pages. I didn't mean to buy anything.

But then I came across something. I found a beautiful book with a picture of giant ship on the cover. The ship was gray, gloomy, and had big guns. Two exhaust pipes, two masts ... a ship... Why did I buy that book ?
What did I want to learn from it? Just bought...

For now, I bought and red tons of books about ships like this. The ships of World War 1. It seems to me that I know all names of those destroyers, cruisers, ironclad battleships. Sometimes I dream that I know all names of the ships that didn't even have names but only numbers. I dream about knowing all family names of all participants of those battles. Family names of admirals, officers, sailors.

I was able to visit all major naval museums of England and Germany. You can find the cannons from Those ships there, models of Those ships, pictures and clothes of the people who served on Those ships. I shouldn't have bought that book.

But what surprised me the most about those museums and those books was that women didn't visit Those museums and didn't read Those books. Women didn't even take those books. They came into the museums as bored moms or teachers accompanying noisy boys.

Why don't they read Those books ? The books don't have inscription "Not allowed for women". Those books are quite accessible and written in less confusing and puzzling manner than the books about male psychology. Women buy and read books on male psychology. Even though men are depicted there as bizarre animals or strangely behaving aliens. Women don't read books about ships.
