12 monkeys season 3 / Promos

0 JONES: I think there is a part as a mother she understands. But her overall and her main objective is stronger than anything else. Her drive to do the mission is just stronger than anything. And it's always this thing she says, 'one life for seven billion'. Jones still wants to reset time. She still wants to prevent the plague. She still is on her mission to save seven billion people. She wants to find the Witness and she wants to defeat the Army of the 12 Monkeys.

0 CASSANDRA: Obviously, the idea of killing a child to begin with is pretty awful. The idea of needing to kill your own child to save the world is perhaps commendable. That you're going to save the lives of 7 billions people. It's also despicable and awful and gut-wrenching. And she doesn't have the strength to do it.
JONES: Myself as an actress I think my favorite was probably episode 7. I like episodes where Jones is torn between her own vulnerability and the strength and where she has to be the strong one for her team, where she has to rally her team, where she has to convince her team to follow her, to things that don't seem obvious for everyone to do. So where she has to use her intellectual seduction, let's say.

0 JENNIFER: We definitely learn that Jennifer can costume design.
COLE: The 80s-- it was a great time. Everyone get to dress up in their 80s gear. I get to dress up like Marty McFly.
CASSANDRA: was pretty fun. If you know other reason than to see Aaron Stanford in those jeans. I think that's one of the hardest I've ever laughed at someone else's expense. And I laughed-- I mean I laughed so hard I collapsed on a floor. I have a video of him. I've made him walk away and to and from and he was totally game for it. I laughed so hard they had t redo my make up because it was streaming off of my face, splashing off of me tears.
DEACON: The heist, the art gallery. That was just-- that was such a run, I mean it was so fun. Episode five was such a break for all of these characters after do much heavy darkness, pain and brutality. Then suddenly we hit this kind of light 80s comedy. And that was really fun. For myself being the kid of the 80s being able to kind of act in an 80s comedy was really, really fun.

0 COLE: It's a big episode for Cole and Ramse-- And it's a combination of something that's been happening between them for a long time. And they're brothers but there've been a lot of bumps in the road-- and there've been betrayals and I think this is the final betrayal. It's the last straw. Cole is a creature of intense loyalty but in a relationship between him and Ramse he's like a dog that's been kicked to many times. Eventually, he's gonna bite back. And that's what happens in a situation-- it's gone too far, too much damage has been done. He can't trust Ramse anymore. He's proved himself to be untrustworthy before. There have been some deep-deep betrayals and Cole forgives and forgets and then Ramse turns around and does the same thing again-- stabs him in a back and tries to kill the woman that he loves. And that's just a step too far. Everyone's gonna have a different take on it but perspective was that Cole didn't rally have much of choice ended up being a stand-off between the two of them. Cole gives Ramse a chance to back down and submit but Ramse doesn't take that. And so it turns into a battle to the death.

0 DEACON: His dad didn't know better. His dad was not a good man. But I do believe he loved his son but he loved him in only way he knew how which is what he was taught. And so there's sort of beget beget beget like violence begets violence begets violence. And I think his father was an abusive man and I think Deacon fears that in himself -- part of Deacon is able to be, the sociopath that he is - is because of the way his father raised him. And I think for better or for worst part of him is grateful because it prepared him to live in a post-apocalyptic environment and at the same time he hates the fact of what his father did to him his mother and what his father did to his brother and what his father did to him and-- so he hates the man and at the same time realizes he's very much like him and so hates that about him so-- it's a snake that eats his own tale.

0 JENNIFER: Oh my God, 302 is, I'd say, my absolute favorite because Jennifer puts on some shows because she wants to be found. She's lost in 1920s and this is maybe crazy but I really believe when Jennifer did that play where she's the Goddess of Time-- I imagine that Jennifer went full method and that she really stated to believe in her own power which ultimately as * as it might be for a little play in 1920s in this story I think that is Jennifer's journey in coming-- it's kind of like a journey of Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz. It was always in your own backyard-- you always had this power. You just had to believe in yourself. That's what I love about season 3 is she has had despite years in France on her own that I really think changed her. Especially because when Cole meets up with her again he's treating her like 'Oh, crazy Jennifer' and just ignoring her. And she doesn't take it. And she sees him for the first time in a different way that she's not bring respected by him and I think she's seeing that because for the first time she really kind of respects herself.

0 CASSIE: You can't have him.
DUDE: No, Cassandra!
AMANDA: I think she of course wants to live with her child but at that point her very last option has ran out. She's been living basically imprisoned for the last 4-5 months or so, maybe three months. And she has had one window of opportunity, only one. If she had any opportunity before then she would had done everything possible to try to escape, to try to save her child, to try to make sure that there is a nurture element that will prevent him from becoming who they believe he's destined to become. And I think she had that one window and it closed. And she caught. And I think she believes that because she was caught she'll never get another window. And it's the lowest that she has and probably will ever sink in that said moment that she chooses that she's going to sacrifice herself and her child for the greater good.

ATHON: Careful! She's a delicate beast. Oh, I'm not here to harm you. It's just for my own protection - really. You're wandering how even one scavenger might be able to remain in here after mr. Witley cleared them all out.
KATARINA: That thought crossed my mind.
ATHON: Well, it's a sizeable facility. I'd imaging it'll take you some time to discover all the hidden places. Smoke?
KATARINA: I quit.
ATHON: Oh, yes, for someone you lost.
KATARINA: Foster sent you. That son of a--
ATHON: Project Splinter, Project Splinter the [] need a lot of test subjects. Are you prepared for that? Sending men to their deaths?
KATARINA: Yes.
ATHAN: Awfully selfish over []-- just to save one daughter.
KATARINA: In saving my daughter I'll save the world.
ATHAN: But this world is-- and who are you to say it should be any different?
KATARINA: Because I have the power to change it.
ATHAN: Ah, yes. Uneasy lies the head that wears the crown.
KATARINA: I just want a chance. However remote to do nothing.
ATHAN: To do nothing would be like killing her yourself. I understand. Better than most. I wish you luck. You know, I have every confidence you'll succeed.
SOMEBODY: Power restored.

0 COLE: Temporal signature.
DAUGHTER: Titan?
COLE: We found it. You're just like your mother.
DAUGHTER: Last time we marched Titan we had an army and we all got almost killed. There is only two of us.
COLE: If we don't go there now we can lose them forever.
DAUGHTER: That's suicide.
COLE: Cassie, Ramse, Jennifer. This could be our only chance.
DAUGHTER: Or we could get them all killed. We should return to the facility and formulate a plan.
COLE: You go do that, then.
DAUGHTER: Stay down.
COLE: Jones gave you that? Say hi to your mother for me.
DAUGHTER: You little sh--

0 ARIANNA: You're tense. Don't be. All will be fine.
CASSIE: You've always been kind to me, Arianna.
ARIANNA: Well, why would I not be?
CASSIE: You're a follower of the Witness. I'm just a vessel. []
ARIANNA: I believe in the Witness because it's all I've ever known.
CASSIE: You were raised in Titan?
ARIANNA: I was taken from my parents when I was a child. From a time long past.
CASSIE: I miss my family, too.
ARIANNA: This belonged to my mother. When I'm feeling lonely I wrap it between my fingers. It's very soothing. Take it.
CASSIE: No. I can't.
ARIANNA: Please. All mothers are important. You never speak of a child's father.
CASSIE: His name was James. He doesn't even know that I'm--
ARIANNA: Was he kind? You miss him.
CASSIE: And I wanna go home.

0 CAPTION: YEAR 2163.
JENNIFER:The search for Titan only leads to death.
CASSIE: I saw a place called Titan. What if we could find the one responsible?
RAMSEY: It's a phantom.
CASSIE: The Witness is there.
RAMSEY: It's an idea. That's all it is.
COLE: Jennifer told me we are all dead.
JONES: A year 2163...
PALLID: Cassandra, it's a great honor to finally have you here.
CASSIE: Where's the Witness?
