Может кто посоветовать литературу по переводу, где объясняется как по возможности избегать слов «что», «чтобы», «был/была/было», ну или как свести их к минимуму?

Контекст: Отец парня против того, чтобы он проводил время с кое-какой девушкой. Отец – убийца, псих. Он застукал их вместе, и теперь следующий разговор:

Сын: “Dad, please— Nothing happened. We’re just friends. We just talk sometimes.”

Отец: “Just friends,” he said, and laughed. The sound was demented. “You know what? I’ll let you take this with you. I’ll let you keep this one while you’re gone. Let it sit with you. Let it teach you a lesson.”

Сын: “What? Take what with me?”

Отец: “A warning.” He leveled me with a lethal look. “Try something like this again,” he said, “and I’ll kill her. And I’ll make sure you get to watch.”

Не пойму, что вообще имеется в виду в словах: "I’ll let you take this with you. I’ll let you keep this one while you’re gone. Let it sit with you. Let it teach you a lesson.”
