Всем привет, что-то мозги от жары поплавились, не могу никак ничего придумать.
Каламбур, прямо скажем, не оригинальный, но тем не менее.

Ситком «The Norm Show», s02e10. Норма бросила девушка, он в депрессии, друзья его утешают.

Norm: I'll get over Shelly when I get over Shelly.
Laurie: You're not going to unless you get back on the horse.
Artie: That's what I keep saying, but he won't pay for it. Oh, you... you said horse.

Это описание тележки на которой кофе делают в симс. Это рифма и, кажется, вообще рэп. Может у кого-то получится адаптировать:

В контексте речь про распад личности во время войны.
ГГ узнаёт, что его жена переспала с их влиятельным другом и следует за кадром такой вопрос:
So how will he react with all these crosses and everything and the way he's brought up?
как в данном случае может «crosses» переводится и при чём тут воспитание?)

В контексте описание жертвы:
She's purely symbolic.
И дальше: I think part of the genius of this film is that there's a very harsh clash there with the visceral intensity of what actually happens to her body.
Как это перевести? В чём отчасти гениальность фильма? Каково значение здесь «visceral intensity»?
И второе: So we have this sort of ethereal spiritual symbol, who we see raped and murdered this very very corporeal atrocity.
Можно «corporeal atrocity» перевести, как «низменное злодеяние»?

For this director it would be one take that he'd be filming, as a rehearsal and sometimes that take would actually work. So it was sort of a rehearsal and then start shooting.

Не могу понять смысл, одно предложение противоречит другому. В одном, как я понимаю он снимает уже во время репетиций и иногда уже там есть удачные дубли, но другое предложение говорит: сначала репетиция, а потом начинают снимать.

Так вот всё ломаю голову над фамилиями Dr. Katzrupus, которую герой, не расслышав или просто смеха ради, превращает в Cat Poopus, а позже сокращает до Cat Poop, тем самым дав кличку врачу, и Miss Pinch. Очень нужна помощь, ибо в голову лезет один бред.

The Trappistine Convent “Our Lady of Angels” was founded in 1898 by a desire of Bishop Berlioz. Bishop of the Hakodate diocese.
The Bishop evangelized Christianity in Japan, mainly in Hokkaido. In order to realize his dream, he felt it necessary to enlist the support of Trappist and Trappistine as model Christians. Their motto is “work and prayer” and they spend their lives in meditative and contemplative prayer. He frequently requested delegations of monks and nuns from every monastery in France. As a result, a monastery was established in Mitsuishi, Kamiiso (present Hokuto) in 1896.
This convent was opened on April 30,1898 with eight nuns who were sent from a Trappistine Convent at Ubexy, in France. In October 1925 a fire broke out and burnt most of the main building. With many communities support, reconstruction was completed in 1930 , and it remains unchanged today.

Не могу понять о чём речь в диалоге. В контексте речь про оператора, который выставляет освещение при съёмке фильма и вот его речь:
And of course, I thought that first actress should ask always just would stand in and so on for the lighting. But second actress has never had a standing. So first actress said: «okay if she doesn't have any standing, I don't want to have her standing».
Что здесь подразумевается под «standing»? Пробы?

Контекст в том, что актриса перед съёмкой сцены уходила, уединялась, чтобы собраться с мыслями. А тут перед съёмкой сложной сцены, режиссёр говорит ей:
"Don't do that. Try to just relax between takes. Just stay in the story during the actual take."
Что имеется ввиду? Оставаться в сюжете? Как литературно перевести?

Решил поиграть в мод к фолаут тактиксу и наткнулся на такую фразу:

Подскажите «inishi8» – это чо такое и как его перевести то? (понимаю что 8 это ate или eat но чет слово все равно не догоняю...)

Речь идёт об курортном участке в The Sims. Участок находится типа у горы, с чем и идёт каламбур.

Речь о роли горбуна в фильме, который сравнивает свои страдания от болезни со страданиями Христа. Не могу понять выделенное предложение (что именно режиссёр чувствует в фильме?):
Контекст:
He is a hunchback and he's very aware of his handicap. And regards it almost as if he was a surrogate Savior, that he was suffering himself. He compares his suffering with Christ on the cross and the Garden of Gethsemane and all this.

Somehow it's an outward and physical sign of this spiritual malaise, which director senses in the film,..

... but there's an extraordinary goodness which radiates from sexton. An extraordinary conviction, even though his suffering he is absolutely persuaded of God's existence there's no hesitation.

Речь о значимости пролога в фильме, который характеризуется стремлением человека выйти за пределы «материального» мира:

Про изучение или исследование понятно, про пытающихся выйти за границы тоже.
Но вот «the celebration of cinema» и «the mood of vision» ставят в тупик.
