LEE: I love the enigmatic way way the show treats Joe. Because we only really see him through Ryan's eyes. So, Ryan very aggressively tries to put himself into Joe's orbit. Joe's all of it. In fact, the kid seems to be speaking the way Joe spoke. The kind of hunger to move forward. And I think it's something that Joe forgot.
