Ramse and Cole are as tight as brothers. They came up together as scavengers fighting for food and life in the plague ravished world. He trust Cole with everything and he's extremely protective of him.
- Jut remember-- you're not from there. You're from here.
- But where Cole is quick to jump into a fray Ramse is cautious and distressful. He has his doubts that traveling back to the past could ever save their future. And worries for his friend.
- Things happen the way they do for a reason.
- If that's true than why are we doing it at all?
- Ramse does all that he can to warn Cole of dangers all around him. Especially the secret motivations of seemingly good Dr. Jones. Her obsession with destroying the present by changing the past seems to have more in it.
- You're trying to kill me.
- Yes, we are. That's sarcasm, Mr. Ramse.
- Yeah, I know what it is.
- But it's not until Cole too become obsessed that Ramse is forced to take matters into his own hands. To ensure the future that he wants.
- What about me?
- What about you, Ramse?
- My son--
- Your son's already dead.
- Burnt by Cole's betrayal and driven to protect the life of his son, Ramse takes on a mission that will reshape the past, present and the future.
